In Gene's words...
I have been a working artist for over 50 years. I began working with limited edition woodcut prints a few years after moving to the Skagit Valley in northwest Washington State. Good composition and meticulous craftsmanship from the initial image to the finished framed piece creates a high quality, long lasting work of art. I owe a debt of gratitude to the painters, printmakers and jewelers of the highest quality from around the world who helped me become a working artist and master jeweler over the past 60 years.
In the words of Johannes Brahms - "Without craftsmanship inspiration is a mere reed shaken in the wind".
